Privacy

From the calculators: nothing. When you move a slider or type a weight, a date or a bill, the arithmetic happens on your own device. Those values are never sent to a server, because there is no server doing the work. We never see them, and we could not retrieve them if we wanted to.

Accounts: none. There is nothing to sign up for, so we hold no names, email addresses or passwords.

Payments: none. Everything here is free and we take no payment information of any kind.

The site can load Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, but only when an identifier for each has been set by the site owner. While those settings are empty, neither script loads and neither company receives anything about your visit.

If they are switched on later, they would collect the usual things such as which pages were viewed, roughly where in the world the visit came from, and what kind of device was used. They would not receive anything you type into a calculator, because the site never puts those values anywhere a script could read them as an event.

We do not load any advertising code, and we do not load any tag manager container.

Like any website, the service that hosts these pages keeps short-lived technical logs of requests, which normally include an IP address, a timestamp and the page requested. That is a function of how the internet works rather than something we have set up to gather information about you, and we do not use those logs to build any profile.

The site sets no cookies of its own. If analytics are switched on in future, those services set their own cookies, and this page will be updated to say so plainly before that happens.

Our pages link out to the published sources behind each figure, and those sites have their own privacy practices which we do not control.

There are no paid or affiliate links on the site today. If any are added later, each one will carry a visible label saying we may earn a commission, and the link itself will be marked as sponsored.

This is a general-audience site about pets. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, because we do not collect personal information at all.
